About the Artist

Tilly Berendt is a life-long equestrian and artist. Her equestrian career started at the young age of three in the Yorkshire Dales of England, and since then, her infatuation has only grown. She is an event rider based in Maine, and spends most of her time with her Thoroughbred, Dante. Her goal is to make it to the CCI**** level of eventing, and international competition. This time spent with horses has led to a thorough understanding of equine anatomy, which is vastly important in equine art. She can recreate your horse's personality on paper realistically with oil pastels, graphite, or colored pencil.

Usually she spends 6 or more hours on her pieces, the total time depending on the picture itself. Finished pieces are on 11" by 14" Strathmore paper, and can be purchased either unframed, matted and framed, or matted and framed with a brass nameplate mounted on the bottom of the frame for an extra fee.
